When a line is deleted from a sales order the change is not recorded.   I tried zeroing the quantity first and then deleting it but the changes drop off the report if the item is deleted from the sales order.  
 
WE use this routinely to book a sale with no part number yet.  When the part is created ( may take a few weeks) the "needpart#" part is deleted and the new part added.
 
 Is there a way to make that change visible in the SO changes report? If not, is there a different better way to enter the Sales order?
 
Also, The booking report in SA-A records changes in dates as well as dollar amounts.  This is not very helpful when trying to get a good picture of the $$ changes for the month. I think what I really need is an interpretation of this report- I get very confused when I look at it.
