Calendar Summary Report for PO's
08/14/07 at 15:51:16

I have to say that I just stumbled upon the Calendar Summary Report under the Queries menu and I really, really, really like this concept.  I don't know how much work it would take, but I would find it really useful if this calendar-style report could be used to print out the Manufacturing PO's so that I could see what I have on order and when it's coming in using this great calendar layout.  I know that there's a PO's Due report, but while this linear report conveys the same info, the calendar format is just much better for scheduling purposes.

Thanks!

It could certainly be done; just a question of time and priorities.  QU-B Calendar Drill Down does have a PO option.  Have you looked at it?

Yes, I really like the calendar drill down on QU-B.  I've been using it and it works great for me, but the real reason I like the calendar print function is because shipping & receiving and our manufacturing scheduler likes to have hard copies of things to keep handy.  They're kinda lazy and they don't like messing with the computer.  Being able to print out in a calendar format for them is so much simpler (and requires me to listen to much less whining Smiley ) if I can give them a printed report.  The calendar format just looks so great and is quite logical and easy to understand that for them, it's a much simpler, easier solution than QU-B.

It was a good suggestion and personally, I really like it.

Thanks Lynn!
