printing customers item number on traveler

Probably an amateur question but I'm new to DBA (classic). Is there any way of printing the customer's item number on a traveler?

if you have the customer part number entered as a croee reference then it should automatically pull into a Sales Order as a comment line which then passes to the work order Notes whan converting the Sales Order to Work Order and debending on the Traveler format chosen, the Notes should print.  However, it will not be there on a manually generated Work Order.

Again, please bear with me as I may not know the proper terminology. We enter a sales order based on customer item #. The sales order gets converted to a work order. When the traveler is printed, cust name, address, our item #, etc. are automatically placed on the traveler. There is a spot on the traveler form for cust item # but there is no code to pull data like there is in the other fields. Do I need to put in a code there and if so, what code?

Thanks

You may have something customized.  The standard DBA Traveler printed in WO-C has the customer code and name and customer PO but not the address and there is no spot for the custoemr part number.  As I said, converting a Sales Order to Work Order would pull the customer part number (as entered in IN-L-C) from the Sales Order comment line to the Instructions section of the traveler.
