Changing to different company
10/29/07 at 14:03:03

I thought I read about this somewhere but cannot find it.  It would be great if the main screen in Evo could be different colors for different companies.  I just did a considerable amount of data entry and then discovered I was in the wrong (test) company.  Is it possible to set up the copied test company to be displayed in different color than the real company?

I believe the colors come from your current Windows color scheme, so that would not work.

However, we use five different companies here and have a different logo image for each one. I made images that spell out the company name in BIG letters. Much harder to forget which company you are in!

I would prefer something different, since we use the EVO menu system more like a toolbar - different button background colors? Or a company specific option to have a setting that, every time you make an entry, you get a dialog that says "Hey, dummy, are you sure you want to do this?!!!!".

I would appreciate diferent screen colors, but as this is not possible, I have had to train myself to always look at the bottom of the screen which indicates which company I am in, before entering transactions or performing inquiries and wondering why the information is missing.  lips sealed

If I can figure out how to do it, adding a different logo will probably work well for me.  A very LARGE logo....  Smiley
