items complete in the work order
11/09/07 at 10:21:04

Right now, our system is all manual:  the operators fill out count sheets, then bring them to the office where the scheduler uses WO-I to enter the counts and put the items into inventory.  (I know, this really stinks)  That is why I am trying to get to where the operators will enter this info on the shop floor and eliminate the scheduler to enter the info.  But when we run trial runs of entering the counts using DC-B, it does not enter the numbers into inventory or show that they were completed on the work order.  How do you get these completed parts to show completed off the work order and show in  inventory?

Have you run DC-H to post the transactions?

Yes, I have posted the transactions.  Then when I pull the work order back up, it shows there are 0 (zero) parts completed.

DC only indicates that a routing operation is complete, not parts.  You still need to enter finished production either using WO-I, WO-P or the new Hand-Hend versoin.
