Maybe this has been dealt with and I'm having a version ghost, but one of my users created a new PO by copying an old one yesterday and the PO number counter did not advance.
Last PO # issued before "Nancy" started copying - 10338
First copied PO by Nancy - 10339
Second copied PO by Nancy - 10340
Next PO listed in SD-C this morning - 10339
So, she made two new POs and got good numbers, but the counter did not advance. When the purchasing clerk went in to convert an RFQ this morning she received an error. It tried to give her 10339, but then threw an error saying that the number was already used. She was able to manually enter 10341, but that did not reset the counter. She will have to remember later today to enter 10342 on the next PO and answer Yes when it asks if she means to reset the counter.
Not a big problem, but has this been fixed already and I'm just not up-to-date in my user menus?
