Reversing WO-G issues in Classic and EVO-ERP
03/11/08 at 11:16:53

In the past, if a mistake was made issuing material, We would bring up the Material Transaction from the button at the bottom of the screen, select the transaction to reverse, and answer the pop up questions and life was good.  Smiley

Now, after answering the questions and pressing return on the date field, no fields are highlighted and nothing seems to happen.
The transaction does NOT get reversed.   Sad

This happened after I updated to the 12/15/07 update that I downloaded Friday, March 7th 2008 and Installed that same day.

Any Ideas was be appreciated.

What we have seen is that where in the past, the transaction was just  erased, now there is a negative generated to go with the original issue.  In some cases it seemed to miss getting to apprpriate records.
And we had problems with this especially in lot controlled items.
It has been a while since we tried it and so I have forgotten the details.  We are back to using a negative issue.

Any word on this issue?

After we upgrade to the December update, when we try to back-out a material, WO-G is is adding rather than deleting an entry

 Sad

In addition to this the WO detail does not correctly calculate the total cost in the work order when a transaction is backed out.  The quantity column is correct with a negative quantity however the cost column is a positive number and when the costs are added up the calculation seems to not take into account qty x cost.  It only adds up the cost column...overinflating the costs.  I have only noticed this as of this 12/2007 update...
