PRINT SETTINGS WON'T SAVE
10/29/08 at 08:47:50

This has been a problem since updating the 8/4/08 patch.
Our printing with any of the SO print options will not let
us save the settings.
I'm also having more problems with the ECO data and
I've emailed Lynn but had no response.  Now what do I do?

Should I reapply the patch?  Did something happen during the update?

Any help is appreciated.

Exactly which print command are you using ( SO-? ).
Does the Save Settings button show up at any time when you are hitting enter down the form?

Any of the SO print functions react the same.
If you go down the screen and then get to the save settings button and you do the save it
acts ok but then the next time you go to print the saved settings are not saved.

This is also true when printing the Sales Order from the Save SO button.  The square grey
screen comes up and you have to change the options for packlist and invoice and the Save Settings
button comes up you can do save and then choose the Print button but nothing happens.  It just sits
there and to print you have to exit the screen and go back to one of the print ack screens and then the
grey box comes up with your saved setting.  But the print option SO-B screen does not have the saved
settings!

The other strange thing is the little blue box for notes (which we don't use anyway) is only the top of the box.
This is both when you do the save notes that you type directly onto the sales order and at one other time but
I can't remember the particular instance.

That is strange.  One thing I noted - When I click on Help, About - Our EVO installation is Build - 07/02/08 with the 8/4/08 update.  Not sure if your date indicates an installation problem or not. Guess Lynn or Allen or Mike might be able to tell us.

The other strange thing is the little blue Notes box only shows the top blue bar of the notice.
Can't adjust the size on it. We don't use the notes function but we do type use the NOTES
button directly on the sales order entry.
