A fair number of our customers have multiple locations (both bill and ship to) that use the same parts, and the same customer part numbers. Sure would be handy if you could pick a from-to to assign a customer part number in Items-IN-L-C.

Actually, we have multiple customer codes for multiple billing and shipping locations within the same mega-corporations; for example, L3 has dozens of each, which codewise are all variations on a theme. Their internal part numbers for our widgets seem to remain constant across the branches, though. If I could pick a from-to range, it would save me from having to enter the same info again and again for each plant. Actually, a "program" that would allow me to copy part number info into a new customer when a new branch comes on line would work well, and would, if set up with a from-to, work even better.
