Weird one - is it supposed to grab a used SO#, even if it was deleted? User ran SO-P-H (convert RMA). When she went to the SO-A (enter SO) screen to make revisions, she didn't see the order. It normally would be the last order in the menu (unless someone else is entering a SO at the same time). She thought maybe the conversion wasn't completed & that she must have missed a pop-up screen advising her so she tried to convert it again. Once she entered the RMA #, she did get a pop-up screen advising that it was already converted to SO #45867. She went into SO-A again to find #45867 & found that the RMA converted properly as far as the date (13Feb09) & all the information on it, but the SO number was in sequence range of other SOs dated 10Feb09. Next she checked a print out she had dated 10Feb09 for open sales orders. SO #45867 was missing from the report. She also noted that this order was not invoiced on the same day. So it seems that the SO was deleted at some point on or before Feb 10. So it looks like the system took the next deleted open number instead of proceeding with the next sequential SO number? Is this normal? We actually have not ever seen this happen before. ???
