We are a manufacturer of our own PCB's here and I buy components in both surface mount and thru hole. But alot of parts are on reels and since there are several manufacturers that sell these parts, each has a different reel size or package mult they use. It would be nice if, when entering the PO, for those parts where it has been entered, the system could prompt you on whether or not you wanted to use the package mult or something along those lines. At least if it could tell you what the standard package multiple is, that would help. Then I would have an option of buying it by that reel size or just the number of parts I need for that build. This would allow me, the user, to make the decision there instead of having to go back out of the PO entry to the IN-A to see what the standard package size is.
