AR-E change form password
04/01/09 at 07:12:17

When I try to change the statement form EVO asks "Do you want to make T6ARE4.RTM the default Graphical Form name for Print Aged Statement?".  Pressing no shuts the print down.  Pressing yes asks for a password.  I know of no password having been entered for changing forms or anything.  No password does not work.  Any idea how to get around this or find the password?

In SD-Q under System Manager there is a Configuration Settings (0/1/2) setting and password. I think that's the password it is asking for, and it is also the place to change the setting.

Thank you. I found this.  There was no password, setting 1.  Any change has nothing print.  I inserted a password.  I can change forms and nothing prints.  Restoring the original settings restores the original form.  I also messed with the setting at  AR-S defaults.  I run out of valuable time messing with this stuff, so I will leave it and maybe return another time.

Failing to print is a separate problem. It likely means that the form does not work with the program from which you are attempting to print.

I am revisiting this again.  In AR-S I have aging periods set at 0, 30, 45, 60, 75.  This does not show up on form ENARE4 or in the aging report AR-F.  I cannot switch forms.  The change form box will not take my password, nor will it work with no password.  It would be usefull to be able to print an alternate form once without changing the default.

Do I have a setting wrong?  Am I the only one who wants to age in other than 30 day increments?
