We have set the Items setting default for "Warranty Designation by Item" to Y. When serialized items are entered into a sales order for one company, customer service is not prompted with the screen that asks for standard or extended warranty. We have verified the parts are Y for Serial Control in IN-B. We wondered if it might be that we never had to enter in the # of days for standard and extended warranty for any of these parts when we saved them (way back when). So we opened one of the parts in IN-B, turned off serial control, saved it, then re-opened it in IN-B and set serial to Y and saved it - didn't prompt us for the number of days. Also, in another company we have some parts that serial control IS set to N, but it IS prompting customer service for standard or extended warranty. What's up here? We're not sure how to straighten this out. Help Val
