Standard Costs of M parts
11/05/09 at 07:07:56

EVO appears not to correctly roll up standard costs of type "M" parts.  For example, we have a standoff made by a machinist using hex rod that we supply.  We issue a PO for the item.  The last and average cost are correct (price of raw material + machining labor), but if we roll up the standard cost (we use average cost, but have to use the standard cost for pricing purposes), it only shows the raw material costs.

You need to manually enter the processing cost standard in IN-L-A.

The IN-L-A "This Level Cost" for processing is also what PO-A will use as a suggested cost for a Make Friom if Vendor pricing has not been set up in PO-H for the Make From.   Other part types use Last Cost.

Lynn,

Thanks for the info-  BTW, what file is standard cost kept in?  I can't get IN-H to work, so I was just going to use a query.

MTICMSTR, field MTIC.PROD.RCOST.  All the different levels and rolled up costs are in different arrays.  Total Rolled up cost is array #13.
