MAINTAIN DATABASE PROBLEMS
11/11/09 at 09:36:59

I'm trying to fix and AP aging issue- I have items showing on the report that have been voided or previously paid and if removed my ap aging would then balance to my GL.  I tried the FIXAPAGE at UT-A but that did nothing.  I followed the instructions on a previous message that said to go to MAINTAIN DATABASE select BKAPINVT and make sure it matchs BKCHKH file for the invoice number and date. I am unable to open up either one - I get a message that says: file not found in fileloc: unable to open:

Any suggestions?

you need to add the file extension for the company, eg BKAPINVT.B

There is also a look up list for table selection

Are you using Evo or DBA?  If it is DBA, you may need to run UT-A, program MDBFXREG and also UT-J and rebuild the DDF files.

If you are running more than one company, make sure you are in that company and then select the correct table.  For example, we have company 01 and 04.  I want to edit BKICMSTR.B01, I need to be sure I am in company 01 before launching MDB. I've seen this where I have been in one company
and trying to look at a file in another company and nothing comes up.

Just an idea.....

Have you tried manually typing in the name of the file (eg - bkicmstr.b) in the field?  We have occasionally had problems with the pull down menu.

When you click on the file to select it from the drop down, don't click on select at the bottom of the window because that will give you the error you are getting, just double click the selected table and it should open right up.
