Sales Orders out of sequence
01/21/10 at 11:45:58

I archived and re-indexed our Sales Order files this weekend.  It did wonders for the speed in SO-A (T6soa.run) and fixed our problem with the SO button in IN-A (T7ina.rwn).  It did create another issue however, before I re-indexed we could change the search key in the lookup screen and Sales Orders would sort by the new key but still would be in chronological order within the new key.  Now the SOs sort by the new key but are out of chronological order.  Can I fix this?  It would be great if there was a primary and a secondary sort key.

did you re-index using the function in EVO on UT-C? or did you use the Pervasive Rebuild utility?
UT-C will resort based on the primary key defined for that file.
if you use the Rebuild utility, you can change which key to sort off of for that rebuild, which will alter the order in which your records appear.
