Negative Commissions that should carry through on a RMA are being dropped.

Are the reps being entered into the RMA with the appropriate percentage?  What is the chosen disposition?

All of our customers have default settings which were previously entered in AR-A for Salesperson and commission percentage.  When we add a new RMA, we type in the Customer Code and screen is “auto- filled” with those same settings.  With the RMA we were doing on Wednesday, the screen showed the Salesman name, number, and the appropriate Commission percentage automatically.

For the most part, the disposition is the items being returned back to inventory.  This was also the case with the one that was being done on Wednesday.  However, zero negative commissions were listed on the SO-G Commissions Pre-post Report, when it should have listed $84.00.  The percentage and commission total is dropped, but the Slsp number and name is still listed.

Was this just 1 RMA or is it happening all the time?

Pretty much all the time.  This is your response to an email concerning this problem dated 5/17/10.

I just tested and I did get a negative commission passed through when the RMAS was converted to a credit but I think the problem may be in the Enter RMA program rather than the disposition and conversion.  When the RMA is originally entered, the header pulled in the correct Rep & commission based on the customer but when I got to the line item, the commission percentage did not pull in.  I will get it fixed but short term, you can enable the Commission default to enter commission at line item entry and override it.
