SO-A error in Classic
01/31/11 at 11:59:06

1)  When I click on SO-A, in DBA Classic, I get an error message which says "The priceing (note the E in priceing!) has been updated, please run SO-Q-A, D, F or H to have a one time utility convert your existing data".  The screen then closes.  Nothing happens when I try to follow these instructions.  I am on the 11/11/10 update and this problem appears to have happened in last 9 months or so.

2)  When I enter SD-Q, I get the error message "The error code PAY was not found.  Please try running T7NUMDEF.RWN to initialize the file".  I then hit "OK" and the screen opens up and I apparently can continue.  I tried running T7NUMDEF.RWN under UT-A but nothing happens.  Perhaps this program is for Evo only?

Thanks

Have done some more research on this.

The SO-A and SD-Q issues first appeared (at least on my system) in the 1/22/2010 updates.

I would appreciate if someone can confirm if they are experiencing the same problem, or alternatively let me know if their system is working correctly.  I have had no replies to this post and that makes me wonder if I have a problem on my system.

Thanks

You need to run SO-Q-D, not SD-Q to clear the SO-A message.

Thanks for the reply.

1)  I was running SO-Q and tried all the sub menus A, D, F and H, as instructed by the error message.  This is in the Test Database (Manufacturing Answer) and I had changed nothing.  I did not have any Price Codes in the Test Database.

2)  The PAY error message is in SD-Q and not related to the SO-A issue.  Well I don't think it is anyway!!

P.S  Just updated to to 1/18/11 once again.  I tried SO-Q-D and the screen just flickers for a second and nothing happens.  Still get the same error message in SO-A.
