I have an invoice on our AP aging report that apparently was entered years ago.  It appears as though someone created an adjustment (perhaps a credit memo) and on the aging report there is no balance but the "aging number of days is in the thousands, over 2000 days old.  Believe it or not the original invoice was entered in 2008 and the number of days continues to increase even though there is no balance.  I'd really like to get it off of the aging report altogether.  Thank you.

Use Maintain Database on the BKAPINVT and BKAPCHKH files and look for the matching entries, or brute force, find the entry based on vendor and invoice date in BKAPINVT and just delete it if its 15 years old.

Lynn, thank you for the response.  When I try to get into anything in maintain database I now get an error message...
btrieve status 11-the specified file is invalid. key=(h:\dbamfgdefault\bkapinvt.b)dbaerr-invalidfilename

Lynn, I also want to mention that our "help" feature is not working and we have received a couple of errors in the Manufacturing Module.  When entering labor we received a "too many pushes" error.  We have discussed this with our IT person and he seems to think there is a database problem.  Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Lynn, can you please assist with this?  It really seems as though we are having database issues and cannot utilize DBA the way we are supposed to.  Thank you!

UT-A program MDBFXREG in DBA Classic should eliminate the Maintain Database error.

Lynn, maintain database if fine now.  We still cannot use the "help" feature.  We receive the following message "cannot display this help file.  Try opening the help file again, and if you still get this message, copy the help file to a different drive and try again".  Also, the "too many pushes error".... are you familiar with that?  Do you think that is a database error?  Thank you.

We have had Help menu trouble too.  Our take is that it's a Windows security issue.  If the help file isn't on a drive that Windows "Trusts" it won't display.  The web help from the help menu works great, and it should also be the most current information.
